Nice to see you! Meet me again in this Rimworld Alpha 13. This is my first complete tutorial video of Rimworld where I answer up all of the FAQ of Rimworld gameplay and I make really completed tutorial in this video. This isn’t finished yet, I also make another resume of complete rimworld tutorial video. .

4. Architect Tabs


Architect tabs is the main production command tabs for your entire colonist. all of object you can build are commanded from this tabs. such as building furniture or construct a new room. Now we'll talk about the sub tabs of architect tabs.

Strip to stripping corpes or prisoner, rearm trap for rearm your placed trap, open for opening containers, plan to make a blueprints plan before youbuild, remove plan to remove the plans, cancel to cancel action for selected colonist or item. deconstruct to deconstruct wall or furniture so you can get the raw materials from them, mine for mining resources available in your map, haul commands your colonist to place the selected items to available stocpile zone, cutplants to cut bush or immature plant, harvest to harvest item from mature plants, chop wood to get wood from trees, hunt gives your command to your colonist to hunt selected animal or beast, slaughter gives command to your colonist to kill tamed animals of colony, tame give your colonist command to tame wild animal or beast, uninstall to uninstal furniture and place it to available stocpile, and claim to claim walls or something you hasn’t own before. So thats all about the order tabs, so this sub tabs concluse about the action for your colonist.

Now let see on another sub tabs. Structure tab, this tabs is needed if you want to build some rooms for your colonist to live in. There are two order options that i'v already told youabout, and three building options. The building process is very simple. YOUjusthave to clck on the building structure then choose the material and build it. It's very simple. There are also autodoor and normal door, the differences is autodoor need electricity but dont stop youwalking through it, and the normal door dont need electricity but stops youwhen yougo through it.

Then I'll tell you about furniture tabs. I won't tell you much about this tabs. Because this tabs has same fucntion with structure tabs but this tabs provide you about furniture building like lamp for lightning, chair to sit on, beds for sleeping, table to eat, and other normal furnitures you can also choose material to build furniture from this tabs. I'll show you how I build some furniture. Let'see. It is very simple, youjust have to choose what furniture youwant to build then if youwant to start building click on clear area on map and your colonist with construction-enabled will start bulding that furniture for you.

Now this is floor sub tabs. this tabs still about placing something inthe map. this sub tabs provide youa bout flooring so you can get beauiful surrounding or just to make the colonist possible to walk fast around.

Now we'll talk about security. This sub tabs is very important to you where you could build the security building for your colony. There's a trap, turret, and sandbags. Sandbags needed for your colonist to hide and fire if there's enemy there, turret is electrical device for auto-firing enemy within range, and trap you can place trap then if its triggered youcan rearm it in the order sub tab.

Now we'll talk about zone or area. this one is a little bit complicated but very helpful in the game. This game has a feature where your colonist or animals just have to stay inside the specific zone or get unlimited zone. Let's make an example, if youhave a doctor then make sure the doctor dont went too far away from your home because it's dangerous and critical if your doctor is sick or die. So youmake a zone where the doctor will stay where it is. This sub tab has that fucntion, to make a zone for a specific colonist or animals. But it's all has exception for stocpile zone and growing zone. Stocpile divided by normal stockpile where youcan store anything in and trash stocpile to place trash dont forget to place this trash stocpile far from the home.

Then growing zone is used for growing plants. This is another food source besides the meat or animal hunting. If youplace growing zone there, the grower of colonist will start planting. But there's some exception area where you cant place growing zone. you cant place growing zone on a frozen land, and sandland. you only can place growing zone on the dirtland. The dirt indicated by the colour of the land, the color is dark brown. In this growing zone you can also manage what plants you want to grow on this growing zone. you can do this by clicking a growing zone then click 'potato plant' on left side windows. because potato plant is a default growing plant. after that you can choose whatever plant youwant to grow.

Then expand home are. it is just same as the first expand area option but this order is work on a specific zone, that's home zone. we can see it's same when i click on normal expand area of home with this home area option, the area remains the same because this order just a specific. there's also an order where you can clear home area and it's also same order as a first delete zone order. There are also roofzone option. Where you can delete the roof inside your room and snow area zone where you can give plans to colonist to make sure there'r no snow in your desire area. i think its prety clear. now head out on another sub tabs.

Now lets head out on production sub tabs. All the important production tools that your colonist needs are commanded from this sub tabs. I'll take some examples, like research bench to researh new technology, and electric stove to cook some meals to your colonist and others. I think you mast have much experiment on this tabs.

Power sub tabs. This is where the power sources building commanded. you can build power sources like wind turbine, solar panel, and generator. dont forget to build batteries to store your elecricity. I'll show later about this advanced tutorial of power.

Now we'll talk about misc sub tabs. This sub tab provide youabout some extra building that not too important but useful for your game. Like graveyard, or tool cabinet for boost the production progress. I wont tell youmuch about this so you must have some experimental section at our game.

Joy sub tabs. This sub tabs provide you some building that boost your colonist mood, i think it's important. I also don't need talk much about this because this sub tabs is very easy to learn.

Temperature sub tabs. This is very important sub tab fr your colonist. This tab provide you about the temperature building which help you to change the room temperature. Vent make some rooms to stay on equal temperature that mesh with it, and cooler for cooling rooms and the most imprtant thing you can make freezer room by this building, and heater to heat up your room when the temperature is cold. i'll show you advanced tutorial of temperature later.



And the last is ship sub tab. This sub tab is the main tab youneed to finish the game. It needs much time to do it. So i'll make another advanced tutorial about this ship sub tab.
