Banished : Video Game

The game focuses on careful resource management and survival as an isolated and growing society. Its gameplay can be compared with economic theory on sustainability and optimization. “
Banished as my opinion is narratively about some people who moved out from the city and they choose to live on a wilderness place. May that was some bored people with the city life and decided to live on rough land. Because in the very beginning of the game, you can see most of the adults in the early game are ‘Educated”.
I think there are many others game who provide you about village building, etc. But I think Banished is a little much different (haha). Basiclly the game point was on the player's town as a whole where you guides citizens to grow and maintain a settlement through a command of yours. With the citizens of the town acting as a resource to be managed you must assign citizens on many kind of jobs povided by game such as a food hunter or as resouces gatherer. The citizens then perform the job without specific direction from the player. Citizens have needs that must be met in order to keep them happy and healthy, such as ensuring enough food is available or that they have a home. Additional citizens come from two sources, the birth of children and the arrival of nomads, wandering groups of citizens that wish to join the player's town. The citizens has a lifespan too tough, they will age and some later time they will die. There’s various death factor in this game such as disaster, starvation, frozen citizen, and age factor.
