Good afternoon (in Indonesia) guys! This year nearly ended and will be entering the 2015! Because of that, I'm going to share about what event, incident, and occurences which influence the world along this 2014. I write this by myself so this is my own version. Check it out :)
1. Fifa World Cup 2014
Fifa world cup 2014 was the 20th Fifa World Cup, which Brazil was a country that voted to be host of this big game. The stadium of brazil which took place of this match is Rio de Janeiro.
This game begun on 12 June 2014, with 32 teams from many nations participating. This tournament was ended on 13 July 2014, and Germany successfully take the trophy away as the results. The second trophy was taken by Argentina, and third was Nederlands.
I choose Fifa World as the one of this article because it's attended by Big Nations over the world and it's only held four years once.
2. Ebola
Ebola is a rare and deadly disease caused by infection with a strain of Ebola virus. This disease caused by infection from monkey and bat.
Ebola is spread through direct contact with blood and body fluids of a person infected by and already showing symptoms of Ebola.
The first ebola outbreak was from West Africa. From what I read, there are countries which the citizen infected by this disease. That is:
1. Guinea, 2192 cases with total deaths is 1366
2. Liberia, 7690 cases with total death is 3161
3. Sierra, 7635 cases with total death is 1660.
Some other countries which aren't located on west africa also infected by this virus. That was:
1. US, 4 cases with 1 death.
2. Mali, 8 Cases with 6 deaths.
And not a long ago, there was an ebola outbreak at Nigeria, Senegal and Spain. Each cases is on 19 October 2014, 17 October 2014, and 2 December 2014.
With this much death victims and fast spreading of the virus. For me this is a big incident that happenned along this 2014.
3. MH17 and MH370
MH17 and MH370 are scheduled flights that both of them are lost and taken down by the terorist. The airline name was "Malaysia Airlines".
MH370. This planes was scheduled to be depart at 8 March 2014 from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Beijing International Airport. Inside this plane there was 12 cabin crew and 227 passenger fron 15 nations. The plane name was Boeing 777-200ER. There's no problem with anything on plane before the flight. But, after an hour after the plane takes off, the Air Traffic can't do any contact with the plane. And in the end the plane, lost. 26 Nations searching the whereabout of this planes. They got a results, but the case why the plane fell is still be a mystery.
MH17. This plane scheduled to be depart at 17 July 2014 from Amsterdam, Nederlands to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There was 298 victims (included the cabin crew) inside the planes. The plane name was Boeing 777 9M-MRD.
The plane is takes off and leaving Amsterdam. But again, after leaving amsterdam and aproaching Ukraine the contact between Ukraine's air traffic controller and MH17 was lost. In that time too, the searching for MH17 was held. They found MH17 burnt on the ground in the Ukraine as the results. After some investigation they found that this tragedy is happened because a terorist moves.
I choose this incident to be the big incident along 2014 because the investigation was followed by many nation over the world.
4. The appereance of ISIS in Media
Islamic States of Iraq and Syria (I.S.I.S.), is a group of jihad where it controls teritories. It's operates on Libya, Egypt, South Africa, and Asia.
ISIS main urges and purpose? ISIS wants to build a new nation which commanded by one person as law and politic commander based to Islam Laws according to Al-Qur'an. And now they have been claimed them self a "Nations" called "Islamic States".
To realize they urges and purposes, they determined to controls and colonizes some nations. On it's action, without any wary they do many big brutality action. War, killing people, make them prisoner as a slave and others. Brutality, they kill many people. They also do them acts very fast, and this group was growing bigger. From they acts too, the economical of some nations which being them victims was fall. In the end, this group has been designated as a terorist group by United Nations, European Union, UK, US, Indonesia, Australia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and UEA.
I choose this ISIS as the 2014 big incident because the influence of the appearance ISIS to media was big, related to what we see from the reaction of the innocent people. And because they've been do many things so unadvantage to many nations.
5. New Release: 5.0 Version Android

"Lolipop"(The Fast Developmeny of Android)
Maybe this will make you a little amazed, but I think the development of Android really changes the world. With this software, now we can do anything easier and more simple. The Android also didn't stop working. They still working and developping. This means that nearly in the future some big things will come up.
Android released the latest version on First Week of November, that is Lollipop 5.0. Before that version coming up, Kitkat was released on October. Yap. Android coming up with the new version and technology within about one years, and I think that was a short interval of make an inovation.
But we have also know, not just android. There was also Oculus Rift, Cloud, and others. This means that the technologies are coming by turns and every of it's have a function. I'm sure that now, we were on the Technology Era, but nearly in the future this Era will changes become Digital Era.
