friends, meet again with me after my last post that discusses the
characteristics of my country (though not the details). This time I will
discuss the same theme but with a different title. This time I will discuss
about the island of Bali, the island that was already known to the world stage.

Who
does not know Bali? Bali is an Indonesia's islands, located between the Lombok
Island and Java Island. Bali is a very popular tourist spot on the world stage.
Coupled with the perfect hot sun, beautiful sand beaches, the magnitude of the
waves, the island filled with a unique culture, and most importantly is a
tropical climate, makes Bali as one of the best tourist attractions in the
world. You don't have to bother if you want to visit Bali, why? Because Bali
has an international airport that is ready to receive a visit from any country.
Airport name that you will visit in Bali is the Ngurah Rai Airport. Once
you get off the plane and started to walk out of the airport, you will be
greeted by officers dressed in traditional Balinese with their characteristic:
grain of rice put on his forehead and put a flower on her ear. After you exited
from the airport, you don't need to be awkward as foreign tourists, because
most visitors in Bali are foreign tourists as well. You also don't have to
worry if you don't have the IDR (Indonesian currency) to trade in Bali, because
there are many places that offer local exchange foreign currency. You musn't
have to worry about the transportation because there are so many taxi out there
of course with a little expensive fee. But if you wanna view the full scenery
of Bali, you can walks because there is a pedestarian's walks way, or you can
go by a pedicab which more cheap than taxi.
Of
course before that, you have to plan it first, what do you want to do? Though
we have a plenty time but you should make it a plan. I think the first thing
you must to find here is the living place. Hotel or a boarding house? If you
planned to be here for a while just go and rent the hotel, but if you planned
to be here a little long time, you should rent a boarding house because the
payment methods of boarding house is per month, it's different with the hotel
which we have to pay it every day as we stay on. We take an example, the fee
for a month for boarding house is about 20 million IDR, and the fee for a day
in a hotel is about 3-5 million IDR. You have to considering it, and of course
most of hotel facility is greater than a boarding house, moreover related in
privacy.
After
you decided where do you live, you have to refill your energy before you starts
your adventure and trip. Again, you don't have to worry about food, you can eat
a cheap till expensive food here. Usually, a restaurant isn't gives you an
offer just a glamour and expensive food, but the restaurant also offer a
traditional local food which cheaper and healthier than a expensive food. You
can find this restaurant everywhere, as long as your living place aren't too
far from the city center or resort center. So you don't have to ride anything
to reach the place, just walks, choose, and eat. Don't forget to choose some
local and traditional foods, it's healthy and unique you can't find it
everywhere, even in it's own country (though, the company is running some
branches outside Bali but, it's still very few).
After
we done with the illustration and simulation above :D, now we can freely go to
the attraction and resorts places. Bali is famous with the beaches. The most
famous beach that never empty with visitor is Kuta Beach. Kuta beach has a
clear sand, blue water, big waves and the sun is perfect. Many people are
suntanning here, there are also many group of man who surfing on a great waves,
it isn't rare to see some small children who plays sand, beach football or
beach volley. Yep, this beach is never empty and this beach is so lively.
Sometimes, in this beach we can also see a group of local people who doing some
traditional ceremony. The ceremony named by Ngaben Ceremony.
Ngaben, or Cremation Ceremony, is a funeral ritual performed
in Bali to
send the deceased to the next life. The body of the deceased will be placed as
if sleeping, and the family will continue to treat the deceased as sleeping. No
tears are shed, because the deceased is only temporarily absent and will reincarnate or find final rest in Moksha (freeing from the reincarnation and death cycle). The proper day of the ceremony is always a matter of
consulting a specialist on ceremony days. On the day of the ceremony, the body
of the deceased is placed inside a coffin. This coffin is placed inside a sarcophagus resembling a buffalo (Lembu) or in
a temple structure (Wadah) made of papier-maché and wood. This sarcophagus is then borne to the cremation site in a procession, which is almost never walked in a straight
line. This is done to confuse evil spirits and keep them away from the deceased.
The other than Kuta Beach
which famous with the attraction tourist, Bali still has so many beach but this
time I just wanna share about my favorite beach. This beach is built by a stone
and rock on the border beach so we can't swimming here. But, from this beach
you can clearly see a beatiful of wide sea with the aqua color of the water
also beautifity the scenery. This place is full by peopl e is on a time (about)
5.00 am. Because, this beach has a perfect and clear view to see a sunrise.
This beach name is Sanur Beach.
If you're done with the
adventure, photo, and your trip. Now I'll give you an advice to buy a officially
merchandise from Bali. Where you can buy that merchandise? Bali was built a
place where we can buy so many merchandise of Bali, the places name was Krisna
and Bali Joger. Of course there wasn't just one shop of them on Bali, but
there's many shop of them (branches). In this place you can get a souvenir of
memory that you ever going to a beautiful place like a Bali Island. Clothes,
Foods and other souvernir can be bought from those two shops. Normally the fee
of every goods you bought is a little expensive, but I think it's a pay off
with the pleasure you get.
