Hi guys, I am going to share a good info that I got a while ago. That is about Operating System Android.
As we know kitkat is the latest version. But Google anounce that the "L" version of android that is Lolipop is released a while ago.
This is what I read about the newest release of android operating system.
" Android 5.0 was first unveiled under the codename "Android L" on June 25, 2014 during a keynote presentation at the Google I/O developers' conference. Alongside Lollipop, the presentation focused on a number of new Android-oriented platforms and technologies, including Android TV, in-car platform Android Auto, wearable computingplatform Android Wear, and health tracking platform Google Fit.
Its source code was made available on November 3, 2014.
It's became available as official over-the-air (OTA) updates on November 12, 2014 for select devices that run distributions of Android serviced by Google, including Nexus and Google Play edition devices. " (source: android.com and wikipedia.com)
So what I get is, on june 2014 google anounce that the newest version is on "L" alphabet. And a while ago, google anounce that "L" was "Lolipop".
